Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you please send us your comments?
October 10 and 23. The Rotary Minute on the importance of promoting the need to get children vaccinated against polio even in so called developed countries like Canada.
October 17. The TED talk "Literacy is the answer" made me think how important the club's support of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library is and the 150 or 200 children in the Northwest Territories that are befitting by receiving a book every month.
-- David Werrett, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
October 24. Enjoyed the Ted Talk on humour. Thanks for including the Food Insecurity section. This is something everyone can help with - one can or one package at a time!
-- Sharon Blaker, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
October 24. Hannah Gadsby full graduation address. A wonderfully simple yet thought-provoking address.
-- Lynne Ternosky, Rotary Club of D6330 Passport
October 24. Enjoyed the whole meeting and loved the ted talk on laughter in leadership and video on parrots. It is so sad how some humans value money more than the life of an animal, bird etc.
Nance MacLeod, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
October 23. Especially enjoyed learning more about polio. Very informative. Also, the Food for Thought segment about the first sign of civilization in a culture – a broken and healed bone, signifying helping others.
-- Brenda Race, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
Hannah Gadsby, Full Graduation Address. The University Council of Tasmania elected to bestow this honor on Hannah Gadsby for her outstanding work as an international ambassador for the lives of all LGBTIQ+ people worldwide. Hannah's intent is to humanize the human.
-- Michael Thomas, Rotary Club of Stony Plain, District 5370
October 27. I always enjoy our meetings.
-- Doug Dyer, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

There are four episodes that focus on Tornadoes, Volcanoes, Earthquakes, and Hurricanes. You will see real-life footage of these storms – or earth experiences – and you will see that some of this devastation is caused by the warming of the climate.
It’s an excellent series, and I recommend it if you need a very real and raw look at our environment and the power of Mother Nature.
Pat and Mick each had a horse, but they couldn’t tell them apart. So Pat cut the tail off his horse, and all went well for a while. But then, Mick’s horse lost its tail in an accident, so they were back where they started.
Finally, they consulted a wise man in the village where they lived and he said, “Can’t you two fools see that the black horse is three centimetres taller than the white horse?”
