Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you please send us your comments?
October 14. Thank you for posting the Jane Goodall video. I watched it three times and ended up in tears each time as I did when I learnt she had died. Even though it is quite clear she would ship Musk, Trump, Putin et al into space she did it without being vituperative or verbally nasty. What a truly amazing human being.

October 13. Loved the puzzle of motivation speaker. There were some cool stats in the presentation.

And anyone who is a Blue Jays' fan, will appreciate this recap. It's hard to watch, but such a memory!
RECCO has provided $1,000.00 in funding to put towards this community service project, which will fund many lunches over the course of the school year.

• The festival is built around a natural phenomenon: during certain times of year, the tides recede so far that a land path appears between Jindo Island and the smaller Modo Island in South Korea. (Source)
• This path is typically 40 to 60 meters wide and stretches up to ~2.8 kilometers at its maximum extent. (Source)
• The period during which this “sea road” is exposed is short — about an hour or so — so timing is crucial.
• The festival is held in conjunction with that timing, so visitors can walk along the seabed path, often collecting shells, clams, seaweed, etc.
Because the sea parting phenomenon is governed by tides, the festival dates vary each year and are set to coincide with the predicted lowest tides. (Source)
Rotary shares in that commitment to peace — not only in remembrance, but in action.
As we carry November forward, let’s keep that spirit alive. By supporting Rotary’s mission, we are honouring the sacrifices of the past and investing in a more peaceful future.
Every week we'll have a draw and the lucky person will see their song featured!
