August 30. Again, excellent TED Talk on soil, carbon capture, and climate change. -- Neil Rogers, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
September 3. Another awesome thought-provoking meeting! Thanks for playing my song! My daughters loved that movie! -- Sharon Blaker, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
September 4. The Ottawa Bach Choir did a very good rendition of O Canada singing together via Zoom. -- David Werrett, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
September 5. Another great web meeting. -- James Ferguson, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
September 5. Loved the whole meeting, especially The Promise video. It was so touching! -- Nance MacLeod, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
September 5. Loved the Speaker Program!! He was right on the money - how we tire of long-winded speakers and only skim long texts. But a good lesson for me to shorten both my verbal and written deliveries!! And the Dr. Seuss quote: it's going up on the wall of our soon-to-be Community Library!! -- Vicki Horsfield, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

Little Bit of Service - Rotarian Jim Kenyon
Whitehorse has one of the best Trail Marathons in Canada. All on trails and not roads...and yes the odd bear chase. Rotary has provided the halfway point water check since the beginning. I think this is the 15th year for me.
Wenda Bradley, President of the Whitehorse Rendezvous Rotary Club (merged club in Whitehorse) had a ball with me, cheering everyone on.

Little Bit of Service - Rotarian Brenda Race
Rotarian Brenda Race and Rotarian Libby Weir (President, Rotary Club of Jasper) out for a walk to raise awareness about Rotary and the End Polio Now Campaign at beautiful Muffeo-Sutton Park in Nanaimo, BC.

Real-time meetings
Each 3rd Tuesday of the month is our Fellowship Assembly, and we often invite interesting speakers or Rotary Leaders for this entertaining, educational fun event. Plan to join us.
Each Thursday Morning from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. (Mountain Time) we host a casual FellowSIP Coffee Chat.
Everyone is welcome to attend and we encourage your participation.
Please click our Event Calendar for details and access Link.
In 2022, we are still working to promote complete eradication.

Food insecurity for thought
Child hunger a major concern as Canadians hit
by soaring food prices
About a third of people who rely on Canadian food banks are children.
Skipping the occasional meal has become the norm for Tara Andrews, who says soaring grocery prices have made it too hard to adequately feed herself and her two teens.
Even with help from food donations and her retired parents, the 49-year-old single mom says the skyrocketing cost of living is more than she can handle on her monthly income of $1,200. She’s already one month in arrears for May’s rent and expects the same for June.

Program Donations
Our E-Club is a dynamic club comprised of ordinary working and retired people who acknowledge that Rotarians are people who are generous with their time and their resources.
Our club and the program you have just enjoyed, either as a member or a visitor, is funded only by donations.
We are developing ideas for fundraising with our members who are scattered across Canada, USA, Central America, and Europe, but we do need your help.
Asyouhave not had to buy lunch or travel to attend this program, please make a donation of a minimum of $10.00, considering you're saving in time and cost in appreciation for the experience you have enjoyed.
