Comments from our guests and members
Members and guests attending our weekly meetings are very important to us. Based on your comments we are able to produce many more educational, inspiring, and entertaining weekly meetings.
Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you please send us your comments?
July 22. Some amazing young girls on the program this week. The inspirational moment with Senna and her Lemons to lemonade story about helping seals by creating a fundraiser was really quite remarkable for such a young person. And Norwegian Angelina Jordan singing Bohemian Rhapsody was an amazing performance for a 13-year-old. -- David Werrett, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
July 18. Loved the Speaker program. Hanna definitely is a comedian! -- Vicki Horsfield, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
Loved the various aspects of the meeting this week. Food for thought – What is Media Literacy - Rotary Minute – Introducing a new member - Humour – New Members Corner and Rotary Jukebox. I enjoyed the variety of topics. Some very information. Some very entertaining. -- Martin Secker, Rotary Club of Kingston, District 7040
3 Ideas 3 Contradictions with Hannah Gadsby. Certainly enjoyed her sense of humour and how difficult it was for her to follow through on her beliefs. A very brave person. -- Larry Reynolds, Rotary Club of Campbell River Luncheon, District 5020
July 17 to 24. Enjoyed the lemonade story from the little girl (quite a motivational speaker already!) as well as the comedian speaker, Hannah Gadsby. -- Brenda Race, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

The Institute of Prairie and Indigenous Archaeology (IPIA) is the first institute focused on Indigenous archaeology in the world. Director Kisha Supernant will share how the IPIA is changing the practice of archaeology by integrating Indigenous ways of knowing and being into archaeological teaching and training, and changing cultural heritage policies in response to the needs of Indigenous communities in western Canada.
This hybrid session will feature a variety of current projects within the IPIA, including Métis identity, Indigenous displacement and remote sensing of unmarked burial grounds.
ASL interpretation will be provided for this event, both in-person and virtually.
Registration is required.
NOTE: This session will NOT be available for viewing at a later time.

Program Donations
Our E-Club is a dynamic club comprised of ordinary working and retired people who acknowledge that Rotarians are people who are generous with their time and their resources.
Our club and the program you have just enjoyed, either as a member or a visitor, is funded only by donations.
We are developing ideas for fundraising with our members who are scattered across Canada, USA, Central America, and Europe, but we do need your help.
Asyouhave not had to buy lunch or travel to attend this program, please make a donation of a minimum of $10.00, considering you're saving in time and cost in appreciation for the experience you have enjoyed.
