Comments from our guests and members
Members and guests attending our weekly meetings are very important to us. Based on your comments we are able to produce many more educational, inspiring, and entertaining weekly meetings.
Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you please send us your comments?
Dan Jorgenson. Wind Energy. I was not aware of how Denmark is leading the world on wind energy and its goal to eliminate its dependency on oil. -- Michael Thomas, Rotary Club of Stony Plain, District 5370
March 20. Interesting story about the history of the wind turbine for generating electricity and how it was invented by a Dane. -- David Werrett, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
March 23. Wind Energy. Again, excellent subject matter. -- Neil Rogers, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
March 22 - Carlo Duarte's Ted Talks on sea grasses. Who would have known they removed so much carbon. Jack Webb's advice 50 years ago to youth is ageless! -- Sharon Blaker, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
March 16. Underwater plan fighting climate change. I was shocked and struck by hearing about the migrant plight/crisis in Mexico, thought it was very informative, and would like to learn more. I really enjoyed everything, and in addition to the above, learning about forest climate change in the video, Clear Drinking Water one in the New Member's Corner, and the Rotary Minute water project, which was wonderful. Regarding the conference in May, I wonder if some will be accessible online? As someone who is applying to be a Rotarian, I was happy to learn the 4-way test and want to put it at my desk every day on an index card. Are there any downloadable? Next, I'm going to watch the February 15 assembly to see how what transpires. -- Brenda Race, hoping to become a Rotarian

Program Donations
Our E-Club is a dynamic club comprised of ordinary working and retired people who acknowledge that Rotarians are people who are generous with their time and their resources.
Our club and the program you have just enjoyed, either as a member or a visitor, is funded only by donations.
We are developing ideas for fundraising with our members who are scattered across Canada, USA, Central America, and Europe, but we do need your help.
Asyouhave not had to buy lunch or travel to attend this program, please make a donation of a minimum of $10.00, considering you're saving in time and cost in appreciation for the experience you have enjoyed.
