Choose a word for the year – for yourself, and perhaps for others. One word.
From Sharon – “So after much thought, my word for 2022 is POSITIVE.”

Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you please send us your comments?
November 13. An insightful Ted talk that reminds us that not all challenges are as insurmountable as they may seem.
-- Todd Colbourne, Rotary Club of Kingston, District 7040
November 13. The TED talk story of David and Goliath was an interesting interpretation of the biblical story.
-- David Werrett, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
Self-discipline is the heart of all progress. Some learn as Colin Powell did, but others learn say studying piano or belonging to a disciplined organization, like Scouting or Guiding. It is much more than fellowship alone, but listening and knowing your role or part in the organization or activity. As Colin mentioned, the women at home had expectations established in him at an early age. We each learn the path best suited for us to fit in, and develop our contributing skills.
We shall miss Colin Powell.
-- Lynne Ternosky, Rotary Club of D6330 Passport
Kids need structure/Food for thought. Colin Powell was very entertaining and spoke about bringing up children. It was a wonderful talk. Also, very interesting about the Black Sea and the ancient ships that were on the bottom of it.
-- Martin Secker, Rotary Club of Kingston, District 7040
