Comments from our guests and members

Members and guests attending our weekly meetings are very important to us. Based on your comments we are able to produce many more educational, inspiring, and entertaining weekly meetings.

Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you please send us your comments?

January 21. I enjoyed the story about Magnetic Hill, near Moncton, and the lady who started a cafe and created a tourist attraction.
-- David Werrett, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

January 21. Another meeting that I watched every single second and shared a few clips on my FB page. Loved the 4-Way test speech contest - wonder if it is still occurring? Always enjoy the BBC Earth videos and David Attenborough - and who doesn't love magic and singing children. Great meeting!
-- Sharon Blaker, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

Interesting meeting, in part light-hearted, that taught me how far Alberta was from Wales but also that perhaps Orangutans should only imitate us to teach us how to preserve our environment unless we see the human future in the form of a brainless jellyfish in another 650 million years.
-- Jean Michel Crepin, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

Own your own face. Very painful sharing about living with disfigurement and how others try to offer changes to your appearance.
-- Lynne Ternosky, Rotary Club of District 6330 Passport

January 27. Another awesome weekly meeting. Wowed by the salt mine in Poland! Speaker program, Own your Face, is especially pertinent for most of us, considering our age and the quantity of wrinkles we now 'own.' Only Western Culture looks down on the face that shows life experience and gained wisdom. “Youth is the gift of nature, but age is a work of art.” – Stanislaw Jerzy Lec
-- Vicki Horsfield, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

Program Donations

Our E-Club is a dynamic club comprised of ordinary working and retired people who acknowledge that Rotarians are people who are generous with their time and their resources.

Our club and the program you have just enjoyed, either as a member or a visitor, is funded only by donations.

We are developing ideas for fundraising with our members who are scattered across Canada, USA, Central America, and Europe, but we do need your help.

As you have not had to buy lunch or travel to attend this program, please make a donation of a minimum of $10.00, considering you're saving in time and cost in appreciation for the experience you have enjoyed.
