Comments from our guests and members

Members and guests attending our weekly meetings are very important to us. Based on your comments we are able to produce many more educational, inspiring and entertaining weekly meetings.

Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you please send us your comments?

Loved the video 13 Ways to Kill your Rotary Clubs. The presentation Ways to grow Islands and Coastlines was an eye opener.  An excellent meeting on June 22!
-- Sharon Blaker, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

A way to grow islands and coastlines.  Enjoyed the brief Ted Talk about growing islands and coastlines using water motion and sand in an adaptive manner with simple natural elements.
-- Lynne Ternosky, Rotary Club of District 6330 Passport

Growing islands and coastlines.  I like the "construct instead of destruct.”  I have been asked to send the video to my engineering son.  Amazing variety of contributions before the Speaker portion!  I loved the romancing the wind...
-- Dietrich Brand, Rotary Club of Medicine Hat, District 5360

I thought Michael Caruso's talk on 13 ways to kill you Rotary club was thought-provoking.  Number 1 to me is getting "young" people to join a club and become engaged and bring enthusiasm to whatever they do in the club.
-- David Werrett, E-Club of Canada One

RI Convention in Taipei in 2021?
Are you planning to go?

Dear Rotarians

Every year, Saint City Rotary plans 2 or 3 fundraising trips somewhere in the world.

Last year, we went to China, India, and early this spring, Vietnam.  This year, we are setting up two new trips as our major fundraisers.  Our “Little Club that Can” uses this revenue for our many charitable projects locally and internationally.

Both trips will go in 2021 providing all is well for travel.

So, if you are planning to go to the RI Convention in Taipei in 2021, please join us for an exciting 14-day trip which includes the RI Convention.

The first part of the trip is in Taipei and the second part will be relaxing in Thailand.  We have designed this trip especially for Rotarians; however, if you have friends who are non-Rotarians and would  like to experience  this trip, that is possible  We will have optional trips for them while in Taipei.

All flights will depart from Edmonton International Airport.

Our club and the program you have just enjoyed, either as a member or a visitor, is funded only by donations.

We are developing ideas for fundraising with our members who are scattered across Canada, USA, Central America, and Europe, but we do need your help.

As you have not had to buy lunch or travel to attend this program, please make a donation of a minimum of $10.00, considering you're saving in time and cost in appreciation for the experience you have enjoyed.
