Comments from our guests and members
Members and guests attending our weekly meetings are very important to us. Based on your comments we are able to produce many more educational, inspiring and entertaining weekly meetings.
Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you please send us your comments?
Greta Thunberg is an amazing young lady. She speaks so confidently and authoritatively
about climate change and does this so proficiently in English – and better than
many who speak English as their first language.
-- David Werrett, E-Club of Canada One, D5370
Act Now for Climate Change.
Wonderful case for acting now and the impact now on our children.
-- Lynne Ternosky, District 6330 Passport Club
The entire meeting was awesome – from the inspirational
moment to the song to the presentations by Greta. Amazing young woman who is fighting for her future.
-- Sharon Blaker, E-Club of Canada One
Greta’s meeting.
Wishing Greta much success with her strike for the climate.
-- Elly Contreras, E-Club of Canada One
It
was interesting to hear and see an individual experiencing the effects of polio
and realizing the need to continue efforts to eradicate.
-- Wayne Lannon, RC of Westlock, District 5370
Patrick Hughes. The spirit of human beings is amazing. I especially am awed by the father and his
commitment to his son.
-- Kelly Best, RC of Barrie, D7010
Story of Wheel Chair Foundation. How wheelchairs give people mobility. People who have only ever seen the ground get
elevated up. The smiles tell it all.
-- Ken O’Shea, Grande Prairie Rotary, Swan City, District 5370

A little humour
New members' corner
Rotary Fellowships. The international
network of Rotarians in Vocational Fellowships has grown significantly and has
generated diverse opportunities for service and friendship. Members of the Arts and Communication
Vocational Fellowship enjoy artistic and cultural performances and support
programs like “Adopt an Artist,” which is dedicated to the professional
advancement of talented young artists.
The
Medicine-Health Vocational Fellowship visits medical facilities, holds
professional conferences and seminars, and supports an organ donor program.
Rotarians
have always celebrated their common bonds and cultural differences. Now they can add a new dimension to their
Rotary membership.
Rotary
Recreational and Vocational Fellowships are one more meaningful way for active Rotarians
to share common interests and friendship across borders.
Each fellowship is independently run and open to all Rotarians. Many fellowships require minimal dues to
defray expenses. If you are interested
in receiving more information about a specific fellowship, you can contact
Rotary International.

Program Donations
Our E-Club is a dynamic club comprised of ordinary working and retired people who acknowledge that Rotarians are people who are generous with their time and their resources.
Our club and the program you have just enjoyed, either as a member or a visitor, is funded only by donations.
We are developing ideas for fundraising with our members who are scattered across Canada, USA, Central America, and Europe, but we do need your help.
