A Thoughtful Start to the New Year, please!

As we embark on another year of service, let us reflect on the Rotary Four-Way Test, a guiding principle for how we interact with one another. It reminds us to ask ourselves:

• Is it the truth? 
• Is it fair to all concerned? 
• Will it build goodwill and better friendships? 
• Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

These simple but profound questions are at the heart of what it means to be a Rotarian.

They encourage us to approach every interaction with integrity, fairness, kindness, and respect.

In a world that can sometimes feel divided, let’s resolve to be sources of light and positivity. 

Our words have power—power to inspire, uplift, and connect. May we use them wisely in all situations to support one another and foster the goodwill that makes our Rotary family so special.

Here’s to a year of meaningful conversations, shared laughter, and unwavering kindness!

Real-time meetings

Each 3rd Thursday of the month is our Fellowship Assembly, and we often invite interesting speakers or Rotary Leaders for this entertaining, educational fun event. Plan to join us. 

The time is 9:00 a.m. (Mountain Time) in lieu of the weekly Coffee Chat except for July and August when there are no FA’s. Here is the zoom link:

Each Thursday Morning from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. (Mountain Time) we host a casual FellowSIP Coffee Chat. 

Everyone is welcome to attend and we encourage your participation.

An old farmer was hauling a load of manure when he was stopped by a state trooper.

"You were speeding and I'm going to have to give you a ticket."

"Yep," says the farmer as he watches the trooper shoo away several flies.

"These flies sure are terrible," the trooper complains.  "Yep," says the farmer.  "Them are circle flies."

"What's a circle fly?"

"Flies that circle a horse's ass," says the farmer.  "Them are circle flies."

"You wouldn't be calling me a horse's ass, would you?" the trooper asks.

"Nope, I wouldn't do that," the farmer says.  "I have too much respect for law and policemen to even think about calling you a horse's ass."

The trooper says, "Well, that's a good thing," and goes back to writing the ticket.

After a long pause, the farmer says, "Hard to fool them flies though."

Our E-Club is a dynamic club comprised of ordinary working and retired people who acknowledge that Rotarians are people who are generous with their time and their resources. 

Our club and the program you have just enjoyed, either as a member or a visitor, is funded only by donations.

We are developing ideas for fundraising with our members who are scattered across Canada, USA, Central America, and Europe, but we do need your help.
