Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you please send us your comments?
April 25. I love the Giant Wall of Trees in Africa! Gives me hope for our planet!! -- Vicki Horsfield, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
April 25. Phyllis Bowdwin's Moth presentation most unusual! I didn't appreciate the language.. sorry. Thanks for playing my music request. -- Sharon Blaker, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
April 25. Phyllis Bowdwin: Don’t look back. I shared two of the videos on my social media. (1)Plastic bricks in Kenya. What a great line she said, “I was building it as I was falling down, but isn’t that how great things are done?” Innovation and the hard work of enterprise, learning as one goes. (2)Why is Africa building a Great Wall? I had no idea this was possible. The results are amazing. -- Brenda Race, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
April 18 and 30. I don't think I would be as brave as Brian Keating getting that close to elephants whilst paddling a canoe down the Zambezi. I prefer to be in a vehicle if I am getting that close. Also, a great story about using recycled plastics to make bricks in Kenya. This is a start on cleaning up the plastic waste in rivers and streams though we have a long way to go. -- David Werrett, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
May 2. Loved the whole meeting, especially the Venn diagram for career path, the Prayer by Celine and Andrea, and the One Earth video. -- Nance MacLeod, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

Gordon McInally – Rotary International President for 2023-24
Gordon R. McInally, a member of the Rotary Club of South Queensferry, Lothian, Scotland, is the selection of the Nominating Committee for President of Rotary International for 2023-24.
McInally lauded Rotary’s ability to adapt technologically during the COVID-19 pandemic, saying the approach should continue and be combined with the best of our past practices as Rotary seeks to grow and increase engagement.
“We have learned there is a willingness within communities to care for one another,” he says, “and we must ensure that we encourage people who have recently embraced the concept of volunteering to join us to allow them to continue giving service.”
The object of the Rotary Foundation is to support the efforts of Rotary International to achieve world understanding through humanitarian and educational programs. The District 5370 Rotary Foundation Committee provides information to Rotarians, encourages active participation in and support of Foundation programs and assists in activities related to the RI Foundation.
