*** Tent Caterpillars *** Music is magic! |
This season, we are celebrating the beautiful academic achievements of the children at Casa Hogar Los Angelitos.
From Kindergarten to college, every step forward represents more than a grade completed — it represents hope, dedication, love, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.
Because of the support of generous people like you, our children continue learning, growing, and dreaming bigger every day.
Your gift to Wings of Hope helps make these moments possible.
Please feel free to forward an approx. 150 - 200 word message or any material suggestions in an e-mail, or in a Word document, along with a JPeg picture or two, to E-Club Administration Chair, Kitty Bucsko.
We'd love to hear from you!

A final thought
Healthy mothers and children are the foundation of strong communities — and Rotary’s work reminds us that even small acts of service can create lifelong change.
July marks the beginning of a brand-new Rotary year — a fresh opportunity to serve, connect, and grow together.
Rotary does not begin each year with a blank page, but with a continuing story — built on friendship, ethical service, and the belief that ordinary people working together can accomplish extraordinary things.
Whether through a local project, a simple act of kindness, or an international initiative that changes lives, every Rotarian helps move that story forward.
As this new Rotary year begins, may we continue to lead with compassion, welcome new ideas, and remember that even the smallest act of service can create a lasting ripple of hope.
As we begin a new Rotary year, July reminds us of one of Rotary’s most compassionate Areas of Focus — Maternal and Child Health.
Every mother deserves safe care. Every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and thrive. Through projects large and small — from clean water and nutrition to immunizations and education — Rotary continues to improve lives and strengthen communities around the world.
A new Rotary year also brings new opportunities for service, fellowship, and fresh ideas. Thank you for being part of the work that truly makes a difference.
— Oscar Wilde
Growth is often quiet.
Gardens do not bloom because someone stood over them demanding results — they
flourish because they were consistently tended.
We often underestimate the effect of encouragement.
A kind word, genuine interest, or a moment of patience may stay with someone
far longer than we realize.
Midway through the calendar year is a good time to ask:
Are we spending our time on things that truly matter — or simply on things that
keep us busy?
Strong communities are rarely built by dramatic moments.
More often, they are built slowly — by ordinary people who continue showing up,
caring, helping, and listening.
Service does not always change the whole world at once.
Sometimes it simply changes one person’s world — and that is where lasting change begins.
A bit of a change this week. A documentary or sorts that combines the stories of two "extraordinary people." The video runs about 40 minutes but is well worth the time. And because of the format of our E-Club of Canada One, you can watch this video "On Demand" - When you want and Where you want!
