Comments from our guests and members
Members and guests attending our weekly meetings are very important to us. Based on your comments we are able to produce many more educational, inspiring, and entertaining weekly meetings.
Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you please send us your comments?
June 9. Loved this meeting. Lots of variety from solar power in Morocco to Paddington Bear enjoying tea with the Queen. -- Sharon Blaker, E-Club of District 5370
June 15. I have not thought about a marmalade sandwich in a long time. Now I am craving one. -- Neil Rogers, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
June 18. Enjoyed the meeting. Was surprised about the Moroccan solar initiative of $1B that so far has only been able to help 2 of 35M, but it's a start! Love Paddington having tea with the Queen at her Jubilee. -- Brenda Race, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370
June 18. The item on the solar power plant in Morroco was of particular interest as I visited Ouarzazate some years ago. It is a fantastic undertaking but seemingly failed to deliver to the very people who need electricity the most, the local inhabitants.
David Werrett, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

The Rotary E-club of Canada One is excited to announce that all of our attending guests who make a donation to our club in lieu of a meal, fines or happy bucks, will have the opportunity to have their name entered in a quarterly draw in support of the Rotary Foundation.
Announcing our last quarter’s Foundation winner –
Fritz Steigmeier, member of the
Rotary Club of Stratford
It was a pleasure attending the Rotary E-Club meeting recently. There were many interesting articles and speakers. I will be sure to attend again.
I have been a member in Stratford, Ontario, since 1997 and took on the presidency role in 2007-2008. I have been involved in almost every aspect of our club including our International Committee.
My current project is planning our 25th anniversary Dragon Boat Festival, which has been on hold for 2 years due to Covid. It is our club’s major fund-raiser involving over 40 Dragon Boat teams from all over Ontario and sometimes, the USA. If you have a chance, take a look at our website for pictures and information on the Festival:
Again, thank you for the honour of $100 donation to the Foundation's Annual Fund in my name.
Rotarian Fritz Steigmeier

Program Donations
Our E-Club is a dynamic club comprised of ordinary working and retired people who acknowledge that Rotarians are people who are generous with their time and their resources.
Our club and the program you have just enjoyed, either as a member or a visitor, is funded only by donations.
We are developing ideas for fundraising with our members who are scattered across Canada, USA, Central America, and Europe, but we do need your help.
Asyouhave not had to buy lunch or travel to attend this program, please make a donation of a minimum of $10.00, considering you're saving in time and cost in appreciation for the experience you have enjoyed.
