Comments from our guests and members

Members and guests attending our weekly meetings are very important to us. Based on your comments we are able to produce many more educational, inspiring, and entertaining weekly meetings.

Following are some of the comments we have received. Would you please send us your comments?

February 2. Trees can talk. Not only is it amazing that trees talk to each other and help each other, but also that stands of trees can recover after we do so much damage. We are getting messages from every corner that we still have time to make amends to nature, but that window of opportunity is rapidly diminishing. We need to all step up and be part of the solution!
-- Vicki Horsfield, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

February 4. Very enjoyable meeting. Thank you!
-- Doug Dyer, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

February 7. I liked the video of the Dutch children visiting the Canadian War Cemetery in Holten on Christmas eve and lighting candles. Having visited some War Cemeteries in Europe, it was always nice to see how well kept they are and the people of various nationalities, besides Canadians, visiting Canadian war cemeteries.
-- David Werrett, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

February 7. That picture of clear-cutting east of Banff was an eye opener. Alberta could do a lot better to preserve its natural resources.
-- Jean Michel Crepin, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

February 2. Another fascinating weekly meeting. Thank you for putting this together! Loved Ricard Arjona’s music and would love to hear more music from around the world! Then, there was the ageless Rotary Minute message and the delightful “A Joy Story” which I shared on the Facebook page. Suzanne Simard, A BC researcher, shared a very enlightening TED presentation! I also shared this on my Facebook page as it is a message we all need to hear.
--Sharon Blaker, E-Club of Canada One, District 5370

Program Donations

Our E-Club is a dynamic club comprised of ordinary working and retired people who acknowledge that Rotarians are people who are generous with their time and their resources.

Our club and the program you have just enjoyed, either as a member or a visitor, is funded only by donations.

We are developing ideas for fundraising with our members who are scattered across Canada, USA, Central America, and Europe, but we do need your help.

As you have not had to buy lunch or travel to attend this program, please make a donation of a minimum of $10.00, considering you're saving in time and cost in appreciation for the experience you have enjoyed.
